Marijuana is, hands down, the world’s most popular drug. It has only been in the last 100 years that it plummeted from grace. Marijuana was legal for medical reasons in every state of the Union until the United States Federal Government de facto banned possession and use. Since the federal ban in 1937, over 20 million — 20,000,000 American citizens have been arrested and convicted of marijuana related crimes.
